The Application Package Status page provides a powerful center from which to check the status of all parts of your most recent version of your Application Package for a job announcement, and work on those parts that are not complete. You also would come to this page when you wish to update your Application Package, view your documents or add new ones, view or print questionnaires and your Answers, and review messages that have been sent to you about your Application Package.
If you have multiple versions of an Application Package, note that most of the items on the Checklist and Details displays always pertain to the most recent version. Thus it is possible to have one Application Package in Complete status, but the Checklist and Details show steps are not complete. The lists of documents on the Upload Documents page and on the Checklist and Details displays do not automatically refresh. To see the document status change when it occurs, you must change pages and come back, or user your browser's refresh button.

The Application Package Status page has three major sections: the summary information and actions box at the top, and two tab-controlled views -- Checklist and Details. Each is explained below.
The top of the Application Package Status page contains summary information with some important details about your Application Package, and certain action buttons.

Application Package Status: The Status for the total Application Package. Possible statuses are:
Complete: You do not need to take any further action at this time.
Incomplete: You must take action.
You may not have finished and Submitted the questionnaires. Go to Submit My Answers to follow up.
You may need to complete additional assessments. Consult the Checklist and Details views, the job announcement, and any correspondence sent to you.
Required supporting documents may be missing. Go to Upload Documents to follow up.
Replaced by later submission: You do not need to take any action.
Duplicate - not allowed - not processed: You do not need to take any action. Your original Application Package will remain the one of record.
Expired: Your period of eligibility has elapsed and you will no longer be considered based upon this Application Package.
Not Submitted: You must go to the Submit My Answers page and complete that step.
Pending HR Specialist Action: You do not need to take any action at this time, but you should check back later in case the status changes to one that does require your action.
Vacancy Identification Number: The Vacancy Identification Number is the six-digit unique number associated with each position managed by USA Staffing.
Job Title: This is the job title that appears on the job announcement under which you applied.
Announcement Number: This number is assigned by the HR Specialist and may or may not differ from the Vacancy Identification Number.
Closing Date: The date the Job Announcement has or will close.
Contact: The hiring agency point of contact for this position, usually the HR Specialist managing the announcement and application process.
The Application Package Summary Information area also includes a link and three buttons.
View Announcement: If the Job Announcement is still open at www.USAJOBS.gov, clicking this link will open the job announcement in a new window. If the Job Announcement is not currently open at USAJOBS, this link will not appear.
Complete Application Package or Change My Answers: If you have not yet submitted your Assessment Questionnaire for this Application Package, this button will say "Complete Application Package". If you have submitted your Assessment Questionnaire, the button will say "Change My Answers". Click this button to work on your answers -- either to answer questions you left blank on an Incomplete questionnaire or to modify your answers on a Complete questionnaire.
Update Biographic Information: Click this button to change the Biographic Information for this particular Application Package only. To update your actual profile, use the Edit Profile button on the Main page.
View/Print My Answers: Click this button to see a summary of the answers you submitted for this Assessment. You can use your browser's print function to print the information displayed.
If you click Change My Answers,
Application Manager makes a copy of your Assessment Questionnaire for you to work on, and begins a new Application Package. You must submit this new Application Package by submitting your answers.
The version of your Application Package that is in Complete status at the time you click Change My Answers is moved to Application Package History at the bottom of the Details tab. It will remain in Complete status and still be used for your job consideration until your new version reaches Complete status, and then its status will be changed to Replaced by later submission.
From that time on, the Checklist and Details displays pertain to the new version of your Application Package, not to the earlier Complete one that appears in Application Package History as either Complete or Replaced by later submission.
